What an incredible way to wrap up the school year! During the very last week of school, the Parker Subaru team had the absolute privilege of celebrating the rising generation at three of our fantastic local middle schools, including Lakes Middle School and Woodland Middle School. To help send these amazing 6th graders off into their next chapter with confidence, we donated 300 backpacks for the schools to distribute. Even better? Our team got to show up in person! We attended the final assemblies of the year to look these students in the eye, high-five their achievements, and help hand out the backpacks ourselves. The energy in those gymnasiums was absolutely electric. At Parker Subaru, we don't just work here—we live here, and we care deeply about the people who make this community so special. We truly love being a part of the young lives in our community and supporting them as they grow. Congratulations to all the 6th graders on a phenomenal year! Keep crushing it!

There is something incredibly grounding about seeing a community come together to plant for the future. This April, the team here at Parker Subaru felt that connection more than ever as we hosted our 2nd Annual Tree Distribution. As the centerpiece of our Subaru Loves the Earth initiative, this event is one we look forward to as spring begins to bloom. For us, it is more than just a giveaway; it is a collective investment in the air we breathe and the shade our neighborhoods will enjoy for generations to come. We are honored to continue our partnership with the Arbor Day Foundation for a second year, working hand-in-hand to foster a greener, more resilient community. The response this year was truly overwhelming. When we opened our online reservation system, the enthusiasm was immediate. All 100 trees were reserved in under an hour. We were pleased to offer a selection of four distinct tree types. The Sugar Maple, known for its brilliant autumn hues, the Redbud, celebrated for its vibrant early-spring blossoms, the Kousa Dogwood, which provides beautiful white flowers, and the Japanese Zelkova, a hardy plant known for its graceful shape and resilience. Whether you were looking for seasonal color or long-term shade, these varieties provide beautiful options to suit any outdoor space. We know that for a tree to truly thrive, it needs a strong start. That is why we are proud to provide trees that are not merely small saplings, but well-established trees ranging between 3.5 to over 6 feet tall. By ensuring each tree is healthy and robust before it reaches its "forever home," we significantly increase its chances of survival and long-term growth. Parker Subaru is dedicated to our environment, and we love being able to provide these high-quality trees at no cost to our participants. Seeing the excitement as you picked up your new trees reminds us why we do what we do. Whether it becomes a centerpiece of your backyard or a new source of shade for your street, each of these 100 trees represents our shared commitment to a healthier planet. Thank you for helping us put down roots. We can't wait to watch them grow alongside our community.

This year's Easter celebration was one to remember. On the Morning of April 3rd, I joined a group of our wonderful office ladies in an early-morning transformation. We traded our desks and keyboards for full-on Bunny suits, arriving at the dealership before the sun was even up to get the festivities started. There's something so fun rewarding about sneaking around the dealership in a bunny suit, strategically hiding over 650 eggs in every corner of the building. We wanted to make sure every department had plenty to find! Like in the previous years, we like to add a spark of fun to the treats found inside the eggs. Along with candy, we tucked color-coded slips into the eggs. Throughout the day, it was a blast seeing everyone swing by the office to redeem their slips for a huge variety of cold drinks, tasty snacks, and special treats to keep the energy high. Watching this event grow bigger and bigger every year has been such a joy. As one of the bunnies, I felt truly blessed to share this time with all of my coworkers, It's one of those rare moments where the whole dealership, from the service bays to the sales floor, gets to pause, laugh, and just have fun together. Being part of the team that makes this happen is so special to me. It's more than just an egg hunt, its seeing our Parker family grow stronger. I'm already looking forward to next year! I Love you guys- Your resident Easter bunny – Grace

At Parker Subaru, our mission has never been confined to the showroom floor or the service bay. We operate under a simple but powerful philosophy: we are "More Than a Car Company." To us, that means our success is measured not just by the vehicles on the road, but by the strength of the community we help build. This commitment is brought to life through our enduring partnership with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Kootenai County, an organization that serves as a cornerstone for local youth. This January, as the North Idaho winter settled in, we leaned into our Subaru Loves to Help initiative. In a special collaboration with Operation Warm, our team set out for the Post Falls Clubhouse with a mission that was simple in concept but profound in impact: delivering a fresh shipment of brand-new socks and high-quality shoes to the children who need them most. For many of us, a new pair of sneakers is a routine purchase. But for a child, it represents something much deeper-Physical Comfort: Staying warm and dry during the coldest months of the year. Confidence: The literal spring in their step as they run faster and jump higher on the playground. Dignity: The pride of walking into school with gear that is new, stylish, and all their own. While our team dropped off the donations during the quiet of the morning, the true magic unfolded when the school bells rang and the kids arrived at the Clubhouse. The energy shifted from a delivery mission to a celebration of community. Post Falls Clubhouse Director Emma Dominguez reached out to our team to share the heartwarming scenes from that afternoon. "Our kids were so grateful! They also loved the messages of confidence and took their time picking out what they resonated with. One of our members said her dad works at Subaru, and it was so cool to see her make that connection!" Hearing that a student felt that bridge between her family's livelihood and the support we provide is the ultimate reward. It reinforces that we aren't just a business in town; we are a part of the heartbeat of a connected community, investing in the potential of the next generation. Why It Matters- A small gesture—like a pair of socks—is often the catalyst for a much larger feeling of belonging. To these Club members, the donation wasn't just about footwear; it was a tangible reminder that their community truly cares about their well-being and success. We are deeply honored to support the incredible work the Boys & Girls Club does every day. Whether we are providing warm gear, sponsoring local events, or simply showing up for our neighbors, Parker Subaru is committed to staying involved. Thank you to the Boys and Girls Club of Kootenai County for letting us be a part of your journey!

Imagine going without a coat, shoes, or even socks. For millions of children and adults experiencing homelessness and other urgent need situations across the country, this is the reality. Parker Subaru partnered with Operation Warm®, a national nonprofit focused on connecting children with the resources they need to thrive. On 2026-01-22, Parker Subaru donated 132 Shoes/Socks to Boys & Girls Clubs of Kootenai County in Post Falls. These essential items not only help keep children protected, warm, and dry, it has a significant impact on a child's mental and emotional well-being. At Boys & Girls Clubs of Kootenai County, we are so grateful for this gift that will help so many in our community.

We are absolutely bursting with joy and gratitude following our incredible Subaru Loves Pets adoption event held on Saturday, September 28th! It was a true honor to host so many amazing community members, volunteers, and, most importantly, the sweetest, most deserving pets. The event, which ran from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM, was a resounding success thanks to the incredible partnership of five dedicated local shelters. The atmosphere was filled with love, laughter, and wagging tails! We were thrilled to provide delicious food and fun for everyone, including popular activities like our paw-sitively perfect photo booth and a creative pet bandana decorating station. The highlight of the day, however, was witnessing the start of so many beautiful new chapters. Because of the support and love from our community, we are overjoyed to announce that thirteen special pets found their forever homes! Seeing those connections being made—watching a new family fall in love with their perfect companion—is why we do what we do. It’s an irreplaceable feeling. Thank you to everyone who came out to support this cause. Your enthusiasm and compassion make events like this possible. At Parker Subaru, we believe every pet deserves a loving home, and we are so grateful we could be a part of making that dream come true for thirteen lucky animals. We are already looking forward to our next chance to give back!

At Parker Subaru, we often say we treat our employees like family. Today, we're proud to share a truly personal story from our receptionist, Shannon, that perfectly illustrates what that commitment means. Shannon recently came to us seeking support for her longtime, dear friend, Myles. Myles is a respected veteran and a beloved member of Shannon's life who is currently facing a serious health battle with end-stage liver cancer. Myles can be simply described as a genuinely incredible person. He is a veteran who, along with his wife Jamie, spent years as a dedicated CNA, devoted to caring for others. Even while facing his own overwhelming challenges, his spirit of generosity is unwavering—he’d still help anyone who needed it. Shannon shared one of her favorite memories that captures Myles’s playful, unforgettable nature: "I’ve known Myles for almost 30 years. My favorite story is from Halloween a long time ago. Myles stopped by, and my son, Stryker, who was about four at the time, saw Myles’s long hair in a ponytail. When Myles asked if he could have a piece of Stryker's candy, my son instantly said, 'No way, pony tail boy!' The nickname stuck, and even 25 years later, Myles is still our 'Ponytail Boy'!" This kind of personal connection we share with Shannon is why she is so passionate about her workplace. She explained what the Parker Subaru family means to her: "I’ve only been here a little over two years, and I wish I had started 20 years ago. While a lot of businesses talk about treating employees like 'family,' the Parker 'family' truly lives it, treating everyone with kindness and respect. The company has been amazing, from helping me with my schedule to supporting me when I need to take time for my dad. When I asked for help for Myles, the team immediately came together to create a great gift to be auctioned off at the benefit. Parker Subaru let me put up flyers around the business regarding one of my longest and dearest friend’s benefit hoping to bring in some help for his family and I love you all for that!” We are deeply honored to have played a part in supporting Shannon and her friend, Myles. Seeing our team members rally around someone they love is a powerful reminder of the strong community we've built here. We encourage our entire community to join us in supporting Myles and Jamie. The benefit dinner and auction will be held on October 25th from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Anything helps, whether you come to the dinner, bid on the tote basket we donated, or simply share Myles’s story. You can find full details about the location and how to contribute on the flyers attached to this story and posted on our dealership doors and at the reception desk. Thank you for being part of the Parker Subaru family and for helping us show kindness to a deserving veteran, caretaker, and friend.

What a fantastic way to cap off a wonderful season! This year, we at Parker Subaru were honored to be part of so many family adventures by sponsoring a free ride day on the magnificent Route of the Hiawatha Trail. As the leaves started to turn and the air got that familiar crisp autumn feel, we knew it was the perfect time to give back to the community we love so much. We had 100 tickets to give away for a special ride day on September 19th. Seeing the excitement from everyone who came to pick up their tickets was truly heartwarming. There’s nothing quite like the joy of gearing up for an unforgettable day of scenic beauty and fresh air. It was a joy to see so many families and friends come together to experience one of our area’s greatest treasures, and it was a perfect finish to the season, which officially wrapped up just two days later on September 21st. We're so grateful to have been a small part of those memories. From our family at Parker Subaru to yours, thank you for letting us be part of your journey. We can't wait to see you on the trails again next year!

They show up and support local events, charities, and people, and you can see their impact everywhere. From sponsoring a race to supporting a local cause, they're truly a part of the whole. Thank you, Parker Subaru, for your kindness and for helping to make our community a better place. Grace Parks and Lilly Jessop

On June 29, 2025, a dark day unfolded in our community when firefighters from the Coeur d'Alene Fire Department and Kootenai Fire and Rescue responded to a fire on Canfield Mountain. This was not a natural disaster, but a calculated act of violence, as a lone gunman had intentionally set the mountain ablaze to lure these brave men into a deadly ambush. The shooting claimed the lives of two of our heroes: Battalion Chief Frank Harwood of Kootenai Fire and Rescue and Battalion Chief John Morrison of the Coeur d'Alene Fire Department. A third firefighter, Engineer David Tysdal, was also shot and critically wounded. Despite his own grave injuries and being pinned inside his vehicle, David’s quick thinking and composure saved countless lives. He radioed crucial information to dispatch, preventing other first responders from walking into the same trap. This heinous attack triggered an immediate and overwhelming response. More than 300 members of law enforcement converged on the scene, launching a five-hour manhunt that ultimately located the shooter’s body in a wooded area. It is believed he died from a self-inflicted wound. Even in the face of this profound tragedy, our firefighters persevered. They continued their efforts to contain the fire, known as the Nettleton Gulch Fire. Despite the difficult terrain and the unimaginable loss of their brothers, they achieved 100% containment on July 4, 2025, after it had burned approximately 23 acres on the west slope of Canfield Mountain. In moments of such profound sorrow and trauma, foundations like the Inland Northwest Heroes Foundation shine as a beacon of hope. Their mission is rooted in promoting the mental health and well-being of first responders, military personnel, and veterans. The members of this amazing foundation stand side-by-side with our heroes, working tirelessly to prevent suicide and offer hope and healing to those who dedicate their lives to serving our country and communities. This year, Parker Subaru was honored to partner with the Inland Northwest Heroes Foundation through their annual Memorial Classic Golf Tournament, a cornerstone fundraising event held at the Coeur d'Alene Public Golf Club. This golf tournament serves as a powerful symbol of unity and remembrance, bringing the community together each year to honor the sacrifices made on September 11, 2001, and to support the heroes of today. The event featured a day of golf, dinner, and a silent auction, with proceeds going directly to the foundation’s vital programs. The funds raised at this event make a tangible and life-saving difference in our community. They provide essential financial assistance for emotional care and counseling services, ensuring that those who have witnessed unimaginable trauma can receive the support they need to heal. They also fund mental health retreats and camaraderie-focused events that help our heroes connect with others who understand their experiences, fostering a sense of community and reducing the isolation that so often accompanies post-traumatic stress. These donations also support crucial youth initiatives, offering long-term athletic opportunities in sports like Jiu-Jitsu, golf, and hockey to instill resilience and discipline in the next generation. This support is critical in building a healthier, more resilient community for everyone. Our thoughts and prayers go out to all the individuals impacted by this act of violence. We extend our deepest gratitude and a heartfelt 'Thank You' to the brave men and women who answered the call for help on that day and who continue to do so every day. It was our privilege to support these vital programs through the sponsorship of three teams, a $3,000 donation, and an item for the silent auction. Through this collaboration, Parker Subaru and the Inland Northwest Heroes Foundation have forged more than a partnership; we've created a commitment to building a stronger community—a community that stands united, honors its heroes, and works together to ensure no one is left to fight alone.

As August draws to a close, so does our annual Subaru Loves Learning initiative, and what an inspiring month it has been for all of us at Parker Subaru. This year, we chose to focus our efforts on a school that holds a special place in our hearts and community: Winton Elementary. We understand that many students and teachers at Winton face challenges without essential supplies at the start of the school year. That's why we made it our mission to make a tangible difference right here at home. Through the AdoptAClassroom.org program, we proudly adopted six classrooms, providing them with much-needed tools and resources. But our team didn't stop there. We put out a call to our incredible employees, and their response was nothing short of amazing. Thanks to their overwhelming generosity, we have collected and donated over $1,000 worth of supplies. The donation bins were overflowing with bags of essential supplies, including everything from notebooks and pencils to backpacks and whiteboards. Each item representing a new opportunity for a child in need to learn and grow. These donations will directly impact the students who need them most, giving them the confidence and tools to succeed. They also provide crucial support for the hardworking teachers who dedicate their lives to shaping young minds. We believe that every child deserves a fair chance at a great education, and we are so proud to be able to help Winton Elementary and its wonderful community. We want to extend a huge thank you to every member of the Parker Subaru family who contributed. Your kindness and generosity prove that when we work together, we can make a significant, positive change. Seeing the positive ripple effect of all these supplies at Winton Elementary is the best reward we could ask for.

To get the community out and exploring, Parker Subaru launched the first annual Great CDA Treasure Quest. This month-long scavenger hunt challenged participants to exercise both their minds and bodies as they discovered the heart of Coeur d'Alene. In collaboration with Granier Marketing, Parker Subaru's General Manager, Troy Duce, spearheaded the event. The quest was made possible through partnerships with local businesses, including ICCU, Vantage Point Brewery, and 32 Below, a family-owned yogurt and dessert shop. Their contributions helped us put together an incredible prize package worth over $1,500. The lucky winner walked away with a cruiser bike, a Body Glove paddle board, an RTIC cooler, a Blackstone grill, and a chance to win up to $500 in a cash grab, along with many other prizes, including gift cards and merchandise. Participants followed clues posted twice weekly on Parker Subaru's Facebook and Instagram pages. The clues led them to a secret location where a special item—the key to the prize—was hidden. We would like to give a huge congratulations to our winner, Amanda, who found the key with an impressive seven clues! Amanda’s victory is a testament to the prize being within reach for anyone with the smarts and adventurous spirit to find it. Are you ready to take on the challenge? Check out the clues to follow along our adventure and we’ll see you at the starting line for the next quest! The Coeur d'Alene Classic Pickleball Tournament has firmly established itself as a highly anticipated and beloved event in the pickleball community. Each year, hundreds of enthusiastic players flock to Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, transforming the Parker Subaru Pickleball Courts at Cherry Hill Park into a vibrant hub of competition and camaraderie. This year's tournament truly showcased its national appeal, drawing participants from as far east as Maine and all the way to the sunny shores of Hawaii. Over four exhilarating days, players of diverse skill levels, ranging from 3.0 to 5.0, and a wide spectrum of age groups—including 10+, 19+, 35+, 50+, 60+, and 70+—had the opportunity to showcase their talents. The tournament offered a comprehensive range of divisions, including men's doubles, women's doubles, and mixed doubles, and we were thrilled to introduce a dedicated kid's division this year, fostering the next generation of pickleball enthusiasts. Marking our second consecutive year of support, Parker Subaru proudly partnered with the Inland Northwest Pickleball Club (INWPC). Through generous donations of both time and substantial funds, Parker Subaru played a pivotal role in the reconstruction of the pickleball courts. This invaluable support was instrumental in bringing the tenth annual Coeur d'Alene Classic to life. From July 10th to the 13th, our incredible team of dedicated volunteers were at the very heart of the event. They provided wonderful warm encouragement, connecting with players and spectators alike, and genuinely celebrating every triumphant moment on the courts. Despite temperatures soaring into the upper 90s, the event coordinators did an exceptional job of keeping all players hydrated and energized, ensuring the fun never stopped. Witnessing the direct impact of donated funds in keeping these athletes performing at their best was truly amazing and rewarding to be a part of. The excitement culminated on July 13th with our highly anticipated giveaway drawing, for which attendees had been entering throughout the four-day event. A huge congratulations to Tina-Marie, who was the lucky winner of our fantastic ARTIC cooler! This cooler wasn’t just any prize; it was packed with an array of awesome goodies, including a stylish Subaru ball cap, a convenient tumbler, a voucher for one free oil change, and two complimentary car wash vouchers. In addition, Tina-Marie took home some essential pickleball gear: a high-performance Selkirk Vanguard paddle, a six-pack of Selkirk pickleball balls, and two boxes of LMNT electrolyte powder packets to keep her energized on the court. Here at Parker Subaru, we are incredibly proud and grateful to be a part of the Coeur d'Alene Classic Pickleball Tournament. Seeing the passion of the players, the dedication of the volunteers, and the vibrant community it fosters fills us with immense appreciation. We look forward to many more years of supporting this remarkable event and celebrating the spirit of pickleball in Coeur d'Alene!

The Coeur d'Alene Marathon is a premier running event that takes place each year in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. Typically held in late May, it offers a full marathon, half marathon, 10K, 5K, and even a Kids Fun Run, making it accessible to a wide range of runners and fitness levels. The race is renowned for its breathtaking scenery. All distances start and finish at McEuen Park, located right on the shores of spectacular Lake Coeur d'Alene. The course itself is primarily paved and takes runners along the stunning shores of Lake Coeur d'Alene, winding through the charming resort community. Participants are treated to picturesque views of the lake, the surrounding Rocky Mountain foothills, and the Spokane River. For the last few years, the Coeur d’Alene Marathon has been an event we at Parker Subaru have proudly partnered with. This deep-rooted connection goes beyond mere sponsorship; for us, this partnership is about genuine involvement and a commitment to the health and vitality of the region we call home. We have seen firsthand the dedication it takes to run these miles, and we have always strived to mirror that dedication in how we serve our community. This year, our commitment was especially evident at the finish line, where our wonderful volunteers were there to congratulate the finishers. With words of encouragement and refreshing towels to wipe their brows, our team celebrated each accomplishment. Seeing the exhausted but triumphant faces of the finishers, and knowing we played a small part in their journey, was incredibly rewarding. Being part of the marathon, especially witnessing the runners cross that finish line and being able to congratulate them directly, was truly an honor for Parker Subaru.

The Subaru Love Promise is more than just words; it's a commitment to making a positive impact in the communities where we live and work. Time and again, Subaru retailers across the nation step up to embody this promise, and Parker Subaru is a shining example. Recently, Parker Subaru went above and beyond by sponsoring the "Keys for Kids" fundraiser for the local Boys and Girls Club. This annual event is crucial for the organization, providing vital funds for programs that empower young people, offering them a safe and supportive environment, and equipping them with the tools they need to succeed. The Boys and Girls Club's "Keys for Kids" program focuses on providing children with essential life skills, including leadership development, academic support, and healthy habits. These programs are designed to "unlock" each child's potential, giving them the confidence and knowledge to navigate life's challenges and become successful, contributing members of the community. Parker Subaru's sponsorship was instrumental in the event's success. Their generous contribution helped cover the costs of the venue, marketing materials, and event activities, ensuring that all proceeds went directly to supporting the Boys and Girls Club's programs. But their involvement didn't stop there. The impact of Parker Subaru's support extends far beyond a single event. Their partnership with the Boys and Girls Club demonstrates a deep commitment to the well-being of the community's youth. By investing in programs that empower young people, Parker Subaru is helping to build a brighter future for everyone. The Boys and Girls Club expressed their sincere gratitude for Parker Subaru's ongoing support. Parker Subaru's generosity has made a significant difference in the lives of our members. Their commitment to our mission is truly inspiring, and we are proud to have them as a partner. This story exemplifies the Subaru Love Promise in action. It's a testament to the power of community partnerships and the difference that a dedicated retailer like Parker Subaru can make. Their support for the "Keys for Kids" fundraiser is not just a one-time donation; it's an investment in the future, a promise to stand by the community, and a demonstration of what it truly means to be "More Than a Car Company." Sincerely, Sidney Parker CDA Boys and Girls Club

Loving the Earth is often a heart-felt statement. But sometimes Loving the Earth is an action statement. Exactly what it means is different on many levels to many different people. Parker Subaru has made it both heart-felt and a verb. Pairing with the all-volunteer members of Friends of the River Coalition, a small non-profit in Kingston ID in order to further their belief in the actions required to truly “Love the Earth” Parker sponsored the F.O.R.C’s work on Trash containment and River Clean-up of the North Fork of the beautiful Coeur Dalene River! Parker Subaru’s Sponsorship has provided far-more additional Dumpsters along the Coeur Dalene River Recreational areas, and people are so very grateful! It is no small thing to have a place to get rid of trash when the day is done and your fishing and camping are over with. Without Parker Subaru we could not have provided all we did! They are expensive to provide and maintain but based on the 1000’s of lbs of trash collected during the summer the area is safer and healthier for all. And the scenery is so much nicer! People come up to us all the time when we are manning our posts at the Dumpsters and ask how it is we can provide this wonderful service. We have Parker Subaru to thank for so much of it. Including of people who stop and even hug us to thank for this service. Also, due to Parker Subaru this year we manufactured and installed Trash bag Dispensers for 13 Gallon bags throughout the CDA River District for anyone wanting to help with the solution to trash. Based on the usage of these wonderful dispensers we have provided over 2,000 trash bags just for the 2024 summer months. Another proven success in Parker Subaru’s support. These dispensers with the funding that was made available will be working hard throughout the years to come. When we talk about cleaning up the CDA River we mean it literally. Each year F.O.R.C does an In-River Cleanup of the tires and larger items that have washed into, or sadly been deposited into the river over the decades due to floods, and negligence. With a Cataraft vessel they designed and built themselves the F.O.R.C does the hard work to try to bring back our beautiful river. Old tires are especially an issue because they break down badly and the chemicals destroy fish habitats and water quality. The Clean-up vessel aptly nicknamed the, “SS Tired” makes it possible to pull items that are heavy and difficult from within the river. This beautiful area needs the TLC brought on after years of neglect. A very exhausting but exciting day, ending with a fantastic feast made possible by Parker Subaru for all the good people who turn out to help. And last but not least one of the most exciting additions provided by the Love Parker Subaru has shown the Earth is the support for the community shuttle for the summer months. The Huckleberry festival visitors can surely attest to the joy of having easy transportation to and from the lots to the event. It was Karaoke time in the summer heat on board the Parker SubaruFORC Shuttle, while saving emissions from cars driving all over looking for parking on crowded streets. Who knew so many people know the words to Piano Man!! What a great addition to the Silver Valley to have a shuttle to help with transportation on the river and events. Especially for those with mobility challenges. None of this would have been possible without the support of a local dealership who cares so much about its community and planet. Friends of the River Coaltion is grateful for every single thing Parker Subaru has done to expand the love we have for the Earth.

Troy Duce, General Manager of Parker Subaru, recently brought his "Subaru Loves to Help" team to our CDA club. Troy explained that the Subaru Loves to Help initiative allows Parker Subaru to partner with Operation Warm, to provide children with brand new shoes and socks. His team presented us with a dozen large boxes of shoes and socks and then took a tour of our clubhouse. On Friday afternoon the kiddos took home a new pair of shoes. They loved it! Parker Subaru is proud to make an impact by helping local non-profit organizations care for the most vulnerable people in our community. With every pair of shoes and socks, they're helping families ease financial burdens and ensuring children can step forward with comfort and confidence. We are sincerely grateful for such a significant contribution from Parker Subaru to the kids and families we serve.

Parker Subaru's 13th annual Pet Adoption was a huge success, thanks to all of our many volunteers who helped this year. With our Pet Adoption day, every year our main goal is to find loving homes for as many animals as possible. It's a huge challenge to come up with new idea's to keep the adoption day exciting and fun. But every year we manage to do just that with the help of our crew of Love Promise Champions. The video attached pretty much sums it up. Thank you Vicky, from Companions Animal Center for your kind words.

The Inland Northwest Pickleball Club (INWPC) is thrilled to announce an $85,000 sponsorship from Parker Subaru, which has made possible the transformation of four former tennis courts into 12 new permanent pickleball courts at Cherry Hill Park in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. In addition, the pickleball club rehabilitated and resurfaced the remaining two tennis courts. This project is part of an ongoing partnership between the Coeur d’Alene Parks and Recreation Department and the pickleball club. INWPC, a non-profit organization with over 500 local members, is dedicated to promoting the sport of pickleball through education, accessibility, special events, tournaments, and fundraising. The club works tirelessly to improve and expand pickleball facilities in the community, collaborating with local parks departments and businesses. Parker Subaru has generously stepped forward to support the growing interest and participation in pickleball. Their significant contribution represents nearly one half of the total funding for the Cherry Hill pickleball courts, which have cost the club $180,000 to date. We are delighted to have Parker Subaru as our primary sponsor, and their support greatly reduces the financial burden on the club. The Parker Subaru Pickleball Courts are open! INWPC’s commitment to enhancing pickleball facilities extends to several surrounding communities. In addition to private and public donations, the club hosts an annual pickleball tournament to raise funds. In July 2024, this four-day event attracted 479 players from 16 states and 3 countries. Parker Subaru’s heartfelt connection to our community is deeply appreciated. Their continued support is vital for the maintenance of the courts and future growth of pickleball—a sport that brings together people of all ages, fosters social connections in public spaces, and embodies the shared values of community service, health, and fun. INWPC warmly invites all residents and visitors to play pickleball for free at one of the many public courts available. Visitors frequently tell us they extend their stays in Coeur d’Alene because of the Parker Subaru Pickleball Courts at the Coeur d’ Alene Cherry Hill Park and the warm welcome they receive from local players. We encourage everyone to join us in learning and enjoying pickleball, improving skills, and experiencing the many benefits of this inclusive sport, which is enjoyed by participants from ages 6 to 90.

For the month of August, Parker Subaru held a school supply drive for Winton Elementary. The amount we were able to donate was unbelievable, it exceeded our expectations! Every employee participated and even our sister store. It is Parker Subaru's culture to give back to our community and help others in any way we can. We thought...ok hopefully we can get at least a trunk full of supplies, NOPE! We filled two cars completely and even thought maybe we should get another, but two was filled to the roof with school supplies, we drove to Winton Elementary and lined up all the items we collected. Needless to stay, the staff were thrilled as we kept bringing in bags and lining them up! Here at Parker Subaru it gives us such great pleasure to see such happiness and smiles from people we help. It always gives us that feel good feeling like..."what's next", what can we do next! I have said it once and I will keep saying it...Parker Subaru makes you want to be a better person, and I'm so blessed to be a part of this team.

Parker Subaru had the honor of being the title sponsor for the first annual Make it Pink Gala, benefitting the Make With Kindness Foundation. The event was a huge success and raised a great amount of money for this very special foundation. The Made With Kindness Foundation is a non-profit organization that stands as an overarching beacon of hope, created in remembrance and in honor of Madison Mogen, Xana Kernodle, and Kaylee Goncalves. The foundation continues the legacy of Madison, Xana, and Kaylee by empowering others to be their best self through self-awareness. They are dedicated to promoting safety and empowerment among college students. Their mission is to partner with colleges and universities to provide scholarship funds, grief wellness seminars, and comprehensive on-campus safety awareness. Prevention is key in creating a safe and secure environment for students. By equipping them with the knowledge and skills necessary to navigate the digital world responsibly, protect themselves physically, and ensure the safety of their living spaces, we aim to empower students to take control of their personal safety. Through collaborative partnerships with colleges and universities, they will create scholarship opportunities empowering students to carry on the values of Kaylee, Xana, and Maddie, and offer tailored training programs that address the unique safety challenges faced by students. The programs include workshops, seminars, and hands-on training sessions led by experienced professionals in the field of safety and security. In all of their endeavors, we are guided by the belief that through unity, compassion, and education, we can transform tragedy into triumph. Together, with their partners, they are working towards a future where college campuses are safe havens for learning, spirit of compassion, friendship and joy. Thank you for being here. Be kind on purpose today.

On behalf of Beacon Clinic and our patients, I cannot say Thank You enough for your generous donation. Our patients love the blankets! I gave our infusion patients one when I got back to the Post Falls Clinic and it is amazing to see the smile on their face! Our Mission: To meet patients wherever they are on their cancer journey and walk with them on that journey; to provide compassionate, personalized cancer care for an unparalleled patient experience. Our Core Values: COMPASSION. GRACE. HONESTY. HUMOR. RESPECT. TRUST. Again, Thank you, Thank you Julie Durrant/Care Coordinator

Not very often do teachers get the praise they deserve. Parents trust these people with their children, starting off as strangers and ending in a forever friendship. Who can remember their favorite teacher, forever imprinted in our memory. We have so many wonderful teachers here in Coeur D Alene, and when offered the opportunity to purchase the totes from Subaru to donate, we jumped at the chance. What a way to say, thank you for all you do with our littles. It's always hard to pick one school when we know there are many that deserve a shout out, but we ended up choosing Winton Elementary School to deliver 100 Canvas tote bags. All the teachers were so thankful for the bags, very appreciative indeed. To the teacher's everywhere, we appreciate you! Have a fun filled summer and enjoy your totes Winton Elementary!

Earlier this year we had the privilege of partnering with Parker Subaru for their annual Share the Love Event, and we are blown away at the final numbers! Parker Subaru and the community absolutely did share the love with just over 25K to help feed kids in need!! The CDA Backpack program would not exist without these types of amazing partnerships and generosity. Thank you so much! Ongoing Success The facts are surprising: close to 50% of CDA School District families fall below the poverty line, resulting in almost 4,000 students who qualify for free or reduced breakfast and lunch through the National School Lunch Program. Our goal has been to expand the program to feed as many children as possible. With the overwhelming support from our community, we have been able to do just that. For the 2011-2012 school year we were serving 4 schools and over 100 students. As we entered into 2012, we were serving 160 kids. Our program has continued to grow- we are entering the 2023-2024 year serving over 550 students each week.

On January 29th, 2024, Parker Subaru's Love Champions had the pleasure of delivering over 100 coats to the Children's Village. Our Love Promise can be seen in various partnerships with local charities and non-profits. We're grateful for the opportunity, not only to be a part of our community, but to serve it as well. Parker Subaru is a company committed to continuously improving its service to our customers, our employees, and our community! Every family deserves a village. Their Mission: Children's Village is a trauma responsive safe haven, restoring trust and hope for children and families who experience abuse, neglect, or are in a crisis. Their vision: Compassionate communities where every child feels safe, secure, and is nurtured in a stable and loving family.

Giving back to our community is something Parker Subaru does on a regular basis but coming up with new idea’s is sometimes challenging, we strive to be different and out of the box but have fun at the same time. The Love Champion team meets monthly to discuss who could use help in our community, we vote than discuss idea’s on what we could do to involve more of our employees. Well I think by far this is my favorite and will become an annual event here at Parker Subaru. “PIE-A-MANAGER”. We sold tickets for $10.00 a pie and on Friday November 10th the shop got messy, not just a little messy, but REAL messy. Fun was had by all and we raised a whopping $2310.00 to split between the CDA Food Bank which we have donated before and have even chosen them in the past as our hometown charity, and a new charity we found, Newby-ginnings of North Idaho, here’s their story in their words. My son, SPC Nicholas Newby enlisted in the Idaho National Guard in 2008 and was deployed to Iraq with his unit in 2010. Nick was 10 months into his 12-month deployment on July 7, 2011 when an IED was detonated near the Humvee that he, Nathan Beyers and Jason Rzepa were in. On that Thursday, we went to work, came home, had dinner and enjoyed the warm evening. That was the day two uniformed military personnel came to our house, read us their script and stood helplessly by as our world shattered into a million pieces. I did return to my job as a Registered Nurse with the State of Idaho about 2 months after losing Nick. But I was completely changed. Grief of that magnitude has a way of seeping into your DNA and changes you on a cellular level. Being Nick’s mother defined me. Losing him defined me as well. And I had to do something with that. I left my job with the state and sat on the couch for about a year and half and thought hard about what I was going to do with this new life without my son. During that time, a lot of Nick’s battle buddies were struggling. They were struggling with PTSD, TBI, financial and relationship problems. And they were calling me. And I thought . . . that’s what I can do. I can help these young men and women that are having a hard time now that they are home. Newby-ginnings is doing that and more. It is the collateral beauty that has occurred after immeasurable tragedy. After our love Champion team read this there was a unanimous YES to donate to this Charity. We were also very honored our own Daniel Chait | District Sales Manager – Denver Zone and Boris Gunjevic District Parts Service Manager joined in the fun and threw some pies. Thank you! Now to deliver some “MONEY.”

I can't believe we've been doing Pet Adoptions for 12 years. Every year it's bigger and better. So many animals finding their forever homes. Parker Subaru always pays 1/2 of the adoption fees. This is only one of the many ways of giving back to our community. There are so many animals that need homes. It was so much fun to be a part of this event. And even though we have done free BBQ for the public at this event every year, we still have people coming up to us saying....Really???? free???? and thanking us for all we do for our community, It's very humbling. I love my job but I really love working at Parker Subaru.

Here at Parker Subaru, we formed a "Love Promise Team," composed of staff members from each department of our retailer. The objective of the team is to do our part in making our community a better place. Our commitment is to show love and respect to our customers and to work to make a positive impact in the world. One of those ways we go about doing that in our area is by adopting a highway. We maintain and clean up the highway every few months, and it is a wonderful way to help keep our streets and community a little better. We were joined by our Subaru District Manager and were all out there for over 5 hours - collecting over 30 bags of trash. We challenge and encourage others to do the same in their own communities!

Providing warmth, love, and relief to those facing cancer. This past June, as part of the Subaru Loves to Care® initiative, Subaru and its retailers partnered with The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society® (LLS) and their local hospital cancer treatment centers to give warm blankets and encouraging messages of hope, written by retailers and Subaru customers in our stores, to support patients facing cancer. We are proud to have supported nearly 300,000 cancer patients. The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) is the global leader in the fight against blood cancers. With more than $1.6 billion invested in groundbreaking research since 1949, LLS brings new therapies to patients and advances cancer research and treatments at a speed previously thought impossible, including next-generation immunotherapies and precision medicine. Every facet of the LLS mission – research, education and support, and advocacy – is working in harmony to put blood cancer patients and their families first. Here at Parker Subaru, we donated blankets to Cancer Care Northwest, which is is the Inland Northwest’s premier cancer center, providing an integrated approach to the diagnosis, treatment and healing of cancer and blood-related diseases. Our customers also wrote personal notes of encouragement to the patients. Together, we can all have a part in cancer care!

Transport drivers are a daily occurrence here at Parker Subaru. We couldn't begin to imagine how tough it must be to get vehicle's to their destination without any damage. Some drivers can be quite cranky, so we decided instead of "attitude dictates attitude", why not do something different and show these drivers a little kindness and show them we appreciate them. Lets see if we can change some attitudes. We put together a snack pack for all drivers containing, water, juice, chips and different snacks. First time drivers to Parker Subaru get their snacks in a Parker Subaru thermal cool bag, theirs to keep. Returning drivers get to pick their snacks to refill their bag. What a difference kindness makes. Such a small gesture has made all attitudes 100% better. Keep up the good work fella's we appreciate you! Sincerely, Parker Subaru, Love Champions

It sure does pay to get A's! Each sixth grader from both Canfield and Lakes Middle Schools who earned a GPA of 3.0 or above earned a brand new backpack, donated by the Parker family, for their educational achievements. Over 60 students completed this goal for the 2022/2023 school year. Congratulations to all of the amazing students and way to work hard this year!

Love Champions Giving back to our community is something Parker Subaru has done for years, It’s just the right thing to do as Jim Parker had said on numerous occasions. We as employees take this to heart. We rarely share the numerous good deeds our employees do, but these ladies deserve recognition. They are part of Parker Subaru's Love Promise® Champions group. Coeur D Alene has hundreds of hiking/biking trails for all to enjoy, but sometimes can be littered in high traffic areas, especially when trash cans aren’t easily accessible. These women organized a trash pick up day on one of our beloved trails and picked up several bags of trash. In Coeur D Alene everyone knows here, the weather can change every five minutes this time of year. Springtime is the perfect time to start cleaning up, as the snow melts after a long winter, it reveals trash and litter along trails and especially near the freeway. They put on their Subie Crew t-shirts ventured out in the cold, wind, rain and then some sun. We are so proud of our employees and hope this inspires more people to get out and do something to help keep our community beautiful. This is only the start. When asked why did you decide to join this group, one employee said “It’s just who we are as a company, we care for and about our community, why wouldn’t I want to show love and pride to such a beautiful city and supportive work place”. Job well done ladies! More Than A Car Dealer.

We at Parker Subaru presented Camp Journey NW with a check at the Sweetheart’s Ball for $29,123 from our Subaru Share the Love® Event this year. Everyone who purchased a new car during the dates of the event had the ability to choose the recipient of a $300 donation per vehicle. Thank you to everyone who purchased a car during the event for helping us make this possible!

They run to get to safety. A place where there is no violence. But often these women and children flee with just the clothes on their backs. We are grateful Parker Subaru recognizes the people in our community that are in need and desperately need our help. Socks and toiletries are basic, but necessary! Thanks for making community impact, Parker Subaru! Together we can free our community from violence!

The students of Sandpoint High School sold raffle tickets for the chance to win a brand new 2023 Subaru Crosstrek from Parker Subaru this year. They ended up raising over $38,000 through the raffle, and 100% of these funds go directly back into all of the Sandpoint High School student programs. We can't thank our community enough for their incredible support and we would like to congratulate Kendra Sarsky for being the raffle winner!

Through our partnership with Parker Subaru, they hosted one adoption event during the month of October. We could also display information in their showroom for the entire month. Customers could read the many brochures highlighting our life-saving mission and view photos of the animals looking for homes. We brought nine pets to Parker Subaru’s Coeur d’Alene location, and by the end of the event, Kootenai Humane Society (KHS) and Parker Subaru helped five pets find their perfect, loving home. Thanks to Cathy Hine and her team from Parker Subaru, we were able to showcase the wonderful animals that are available for adoption and spread the word about the importance of adopting and supporting our community’s only no-kill animal center which is 100% community funded. Daisy, a two-year-old Great Pyrenees mix, was adopted that day. She had entered a shelter back in April of this year. She was rescued from that high-kill shelter in Texas right before her time was up and brought to KHS on September 17. Being a larger canine with lots of hair, it took almost one month to find her that perfect home. She was passed over a few times but when her new family saw her at the dealership, it was a done deal! She went home that day.

On Monday, June 27, Parker Subaru had the unique opportunity of delivering 80 blankets to Cancer Care Northwest - Coeur d'Alene Location (CCNW), in partnership with the LLS Pacific Northwest Region. Accompanying these blankets were handwritten cards for patients from Parker Subaru employees and customers. During the visit, Subaru employees were able to learn about what CCNW has been able to accomplish in the cancer space! It made an incredible impact on the Subaru representatives. Since its inception, Cancer Care Northwest has provided an integrated approach to the diagnosis, treatment and healing of cancer and blood-related diseases. Both Parker Subaru and the LLS Pacific Northwest Region are grateful to have been able to give back to this worthy organization.

Who doesn't love getting a big check?? Parker Subaru presented both the Kootenai Humane Society and Children’s Village with their individual donations from the Subaru Share the Love event this year. For every new Subaru vehicle purchased from last November through early January, Subaru agreed to donate $300 to one of these two local charities. Please follow both Kootenai Humane Society and Children's Village, Inc. to stay up to date on all of the amazing things they do. We absolutely love this community and the people and organizations that make it up!

First of all, I would like to say this letter was difficult to write but not because the heartfelt nature of doing something for our community like building beds for kids that don't have one. The fact is over the years we have done many things for our community and families in need around the holidays. The part that makes this difficult is from our owners and their true definition they don't seek appreciation or admiration, in fact I would say they prefer to keep it a secret. For many years Mrs. Parker would work with our local schools to find families in need. One family would be assigned to each department at the dealership. As a department manager I would contact the family not telling them where I was from only that we had been given their information through the school and would like to help out at Christmas. I would always tell the family to make a list of needs but also gifts for the children, that was the fun part. I always remember the first year a single mother with three kids living in a two-bedroom apartment. I was excited to go buy some toys. When I called the mother after a couple days to ask for her list, she only asked for one thing..a bed. She had been sharing her bed with the youngest child and the other two slept on blankets on the floor. Suddenly feeling ashamed that all I was thinking about was toys. I realized how good my own children have it and they never have known the feeling of not having a bed to sleep in. Many years later driving to work one morning a radio broadcast came on talking about (SHP) Sleep in Heavenly Peace. A group of volunteers dedicated to building and assembling and delivering beds to children who don't have one. One of their motto's No kid sleeps on the floor in our town. I remembered that family from years ago and knew Parker Subaru had to get involved somehow. We reached out to the local chapter of SHP and they told us how we could sponsor a bed build. We did exactly that! Not only did employees donate money but also on the day of the build employees and their families flooded the building ready to work and build beds. What a success. The following week we helped deliver the beds. We believe all children deserve a safe and comfortable place to lay their heads. This is a basic need for proper physical, emotional and mental support that a child needs. We are now in our second year and another 50 beds for kids. I hope someday we can look back and say we built 1000. Thank you, SHP for all your efforts and your passionate belief in the mission of getting kids off the floor. Sincerely, Jared Kelly
Lexi E.
All children deserve a safe, comfortable place to lay their heads. In Idaho and across the US, too many boys and girls go without a bed—or even a pillow—to sleep on. These children end up sleeping on couches, blankets, and even floors. This can affect their happiness and health. That’s where Sleep in Heavenly Peace comes in. They are a group of volunteers dedicated to building, assembling and delivering top-notch bunk beds to children and families in need. SHP fully believes that a bed is a basic need for the proper physical, emotional, and mental support that a child needs. When it was brought to their attention that the need for beds went far beyond our own neighborhoods, they stepped up and took initiative. They're a national organization answering the call to a national problem. If a child needs a bed, they want to make sure they get one. No kid sleeps on the floor in our town! This was the second year Parker Automotive donated and helped build beds for kids in need. It was an absolute honor to help this incredible organization better our community. Please consider donating or helping if you can: https://www.shpbeds.org/

"My 2017 Legacy sedan needed Starlink updates before a January deadline. I was able to leave my car at Parker to have that done. They provided me with an excellent loaner car, as they needed my car overnight and I live in Sandpoint. Then the heavy snow arrived. I couldn't get out of my driveway, let alone drive the loaner car back to Parker and pick up my car. Parker Subaru had one of their exceptional employees drive my car to my home in Sandpoint and take the loaner back. Remember, I couldn't get out of my driveway? The Parker employee shoveled my driveway, AND SIDEWALK, put my car back where it belongs and return the loaner. Best customer service ever!"

As a local business, we are all for helping our community. Subaru USA operates many initiatives throughout the year, all based around the 5 pillars of the Subaru Love Promise. One of those pillars is Subaru Loves to Help. We at Parker Subaru recently adopted a local highway and bagged up loads of trash that accumulated within just a one mile stretch along the road. Thank you to the Idaho Department of Transportation for making sure we were safe and prepared with supplies. We were also able to donate 150 blankets to Safe Passage - a local non-profit organization committed to helping survivors of domestic and sexual violence (including children). They offer shelter, counseling, court advocacy, and more. The winter months can be brutal and cold, so blankets are always needed. With the help of Subaru, less women and children will be in need of a warm blanket this season.

Tiny, tiny Peanut was transferred to Kootenai Humane Society from a high-kill shelter in Texas. So afraid and wondering what happened to his world, he quivered every time someone looked at him. Peanut was so small that he was placed in a black wired kennel and stayed in staff offices over night. During the day, he was able to 'hang out' in staff offices to help him relax and be around people. He did need medical treatment for one week before being ready for adoption. Knowing he would need a quiet family and someone with a lot of patience, a wonderful woman heard of Peanut and wanted to meet him. The first day he was ready to meet the public was on October 17. She showed up with her daughter to the Parker Subaru Adoption event and a match was made! Peanut was handed to the lady and they both made a connection. He was home.

Two of our lot attendants went to a elderly customer's house to get her car for its scheduled service appointment. They had arranged previously to pick it up because she lives by herself and was unable to bring it in, and she told our service receptionist to have them come to the back door and knock because she wouldn't hear them otherwise. The two young men went to the house, knocked on the front door, and left because they received no answer. Back at the dealership, they spoke with our service receptionist who reminded them of the request to go to the back door. They returned to the residence, went around back and knocked, but still no answer. Then they heard a woman calling from inside. Through the window, they were able to determine that she had fallen and needed paramedics. They called, and the woman was taken to the hospital. She had fallen the previous day and broken her hip, so she had been in that situation for a very long time. She has since recovered and thanked our team for being there when they were with a kind thank-you card. We are extremely proud of Trevor and Carson for their bravery that day. Sometimes life places you in the right place at the very right time.

"I just brought home my 2021 Outback Touring XT. This is my third Subaru and by far my best car buying experience ever. My salesman Tommy Pfau was fantastic! He made me feel like a friend and made everything smooth and seamless. I drove from Cheney, WA and it was worth every mile. Thank you Tommy and Parker Subaru for the wonderful customer service. If you're looking for a great experience buying a car I highly recommend Tommy and Parker Subaru!" "I’ll start this off with the info that I have been looking for a car for about 6 months. I’m picky and on a budget, probably a salesman’s worst nightmare! But no matter how many times I came down to Parker to check out a car, get numbers, not end up getting it and just not quite finding “the one”, Dustin worked hard to keep looking for a vehicle to fit what I needed for my family. He never gave up and threw in the towel and I’m forever thankful. We finally found the perfect car and he worked so hard to make sure I could get into it. He was so honest and professional the entire time and really went above and beyond even after the purchase was done. Everything was all set up in my new car and it was so quick and easy. Then made sure I could find all the gadgets and helped set up the Bluetooth and everything. Just such a wonderful experience thanks to Dustin. Thank you again for helping us find a car for our family!" "We absolutely LOVE Parker Subaru! Danny Garrigan sold us a car several years ago and it was such a great experience then, that we requested him again tonight when we went in. We were in the market for a car for my son. Let me just say I HATE buying cars. And when it comes to my son I’m unwilling to compromise on trust or reliability. I knew that with Danny, both would be in good hands. We went in to test drive a car and with Danny’s help we were able to make the purchase. Danny was professional and very easy to work with. Thank you Parker Subaru and thank you Danny! The experience was painless and easy." "This was my first experience buying a pre-owned vehicle from a dealership and I cannot say enough great things!! Sales associate Drew H made our experience fun, easy, and enjoyable the whole time. Once we were passed along to finance, Drew H (different Drew H) worked out a deal while we went home and kept me updated the entire time. He helped get me my desired rate and payment, even though it took some extra work. At signing, we were helped out by Greg who had all of the paperwork ready and explained everything super clearly. This was a quick and easy experience. At all times we felt welcomed, comfortable and were met with kindness and respect. We weren’t pushed into buying anything we weren’t interested in and all of the employees who helped us were open and honest the entire time. I recommend Parker Subaru 100% and am so so pleased with everything about my experience." "Wish I would’ve come to this dealership when I traded in my Nissan when I moved up from CA 3 years ago. Joey and the team were all great. 97% of my communications were with Joey and were done via phone and text. Joey was always available to answer questions and educate me where needed. Even on his day off. When I finally got into the dealership financing and paperwork was already pre-filled and ready to go. Everyone smiled and greeted me. Super super professional and warm experience and will recommend the dealership to everyone I come across who is looking to buy / trade. I even got to see some pics of Joey’s dog. Which was a huge plus as I have 4 rescues of my own. I sincerely appreciate the time and effort this team put in. Thanks." "Absolutely excellent service! Answered all questions, whether they were related to the purchase or not, and did so professionally and with a smile. The plans they offer in addition to the lease of the car are extremely affordable for the services provided, and are very in-depth in what they provide. Large selection, in multiple options per vehicle, and great quality vehicles in general, including their used vehicles. My family has purchased multiple Subarus from here over the span of a decade and a half, and every one they have bought have been great quality, with excellent service. Now that we purchased one ourselves, I can say with certainty that this has been one of the best experiences I have ever gone through purchasing a vehicle. HIGHLY recommend!"

The need for food never ends, especially during the holidays. This year, Parker Subaru bought supplies from Super 1 Foods, and the staff assembled and filled 120 boxes with everything needed for a Christmas dinner. That evening, families drove through the service drive and were welcomed with smiles, music, and a cheerful "Merry Christmas" as staff loaded a boxed dinner into their cars. For the families who were not able to get to the dealership, a handful of Subaru staff made home deliveries to make sure the meals got to where they were needed. The remaining boxes were taken to UGM and Real Life Ministries. We look forward to hopefully helping and feeding even more families next year!

The good folks at Parker Subaru had to cancel their annual Pet Adoption Day for 2020 - but came up with another great idea! As part of Subaru Loves Pets they donated $100 for every dog adopted in the month of October to celebrate Adopt a Shelter Dog Month! And they held a "Yappy Hour" at their dealership to celebrate National Make a Dog's Day at the same time! Kootenai Humane Society was proud to be a part of this hour long Live Facebook event! Chris Leonard, Parker Subaru's General Manager joined in on the fun and met Toby, an eight year old Shepherd Rottweiler mix who was dealing with some major skin issues. Toby spent several weeks at the shelter recuperating but he didn't seem to mind all the attention he was receiving at the dealership! Just a few days after his Yappy Hour appearance, he was adopted! He found the perfect person to spend the rest of life. For many years Parker Subaru has helped so many animals find their forever homes. All of us at Kootenai Humane Society, two-legged, four-legged, and sometimes three-legged are so grateful for their continued support of our life-saving mission. Four paws up to all of them! And a big Woof!

All our experiences with Parker Subaru in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho have been superlative. From Danny Garrigan our salesman to Bill Smasne Sales Manager, and Devin, and Joshua who helped us with financing and service, respectively, I have been exceedingly pleased with Parker Subaru. What I find extraordinary about the dealership is that they have a food bank for the community with what seems to be a "Donate What You Can, Take What You Need" philosophy. They also adopt families in the community at the holidays to whom they provide food, gifts, and love. From what I hear, the members of the Parker Subaru team actively participate in these activities as well. Honestly, I was not sure I would buy my new car from them. They made me a very competitive offer on the purchase, but what sold me on the car and the dealership was their support of the community in which they are located. I'm impressed.

Each year, we challenge the Post Falls, Lakeland, and Timberlake High School students to sell raffle tickets in order to raise money for their student programs. The ultimate prize for the raffle you ask? A brand new 2019 Subaru Crosstrek from Parker Subaru! This year, the students were able to raise $72,082, which is just amazing to see from our community. We owe the success to every person that chooses to buy a raffle ticket in support. The best part of it all is that 100% of these funds raised go directly to the student programs at each school! We have found this to be an incredibly successful fundraiser for the schools, and the reaction of the raffle winners is always just the cherry on top! Karen Wood was lucky enough to be drawn as the winner of the new Subaru Crosstrek this year. She purchased her ticket from her granddaughter who is a cheerleader at Post Falls High School! From the winning call to the pick up at Parker Subaru, the reactions on the video are definitely worth a watch!

P.A.S.S. stands for Perfect Attendance Spells Success. Since 2013, we have challenged the Lakeland school district sixth graders to achieve perfect attendance in order to win a free bike and helmet at the end of the school year. Well, last year there were 40 qualifying students who ended up making it through the school year without missing a day of school! We honored them at their end of the year assemblies and invited them to our P.A.S.S. Bike Giveaway and Barbecue. That day, our Service Center that's normally filled with vehicles was filled with food, drinks, and bikes for all the awesome students and their families! This is just one of the ways we try to live out the Subaru Loves Learning Subaru Love Promise. Staying engaged at school every day is an important part of the learning process. We hope that this school year, even more students achieve perfect attendance to win their free bike and helmet!

The students of Sandpoint High School sold raffle tickets for the chance to win a brand new 2019 Subaru Impreza from Parker Subaru this year. They ended up raising over $58,000 through the raffle, and 100% of these funds go directly back into all of the Sandpoint High School student programs. We can't thank our community enough for their incredible support and we would like to congratulate Michelle Brown for being the raffle winner! She was even at the game when we announced that she won, which made it even more special. Her family had an older Subaru that had recently been in an accident, so it couldn't have been more perfect.

Our second food drive was a huge success because of the generosity of our local Subaru clubs - Sandpoint Subies, River City Subies, and Lilac City Subies. We opened up our service drive to host a bbq, raffle, and even a pie eating contest! The food items that were brought for the food drive kept piling up - and by the end of the day, we were floored by the immense amount that was collected. All of the donated food will be used to fill our Parker Subaru food pantry that we installed in October of 2018. Pet items were also donated, and we took all of those donations to one of our local animal shelters. It was awesome to see the pride each Subaru owner had in their Subie - whether it was old, new, custom, or stock. After checking out everybody's ride, we raffled off Subaru items like yoga mats, shirts, canteens, headphones, oil changes, and even a few bikes! It was fun to see how excited these Subaru enthusiasts were about their new Subaru swag. We look forward to doing another food drive with these awesome Subie clubs and ambassadors again in the future!

We were proud to support the Coeur d'Alene Marathon again this year! This local race supports the North Idaho Centennial Trail Foundation, whose mission is "to preserve and develop the North Idaho Centennial Trail System and promote non-motorized trail connectivity throughout North Idaho." We appreciate the work that they do to keep our local trails clean and maintained for everybody to enjoy.

There were smiles everywhere during our 8th annual Pet Adoption Day. Instead of Subaru vehicles, our service bay was filled with furry friends who were ready to be taken to loving new homes. Six local shelters participated in the event this year - Spokane Humane Society, Kootenai Humane Society, SpokAnimal, Shoshone Pet Rescue, Scraps, and Path of Hope Rescue. This event is one we all look forward to not only because it enables us to live out the "Subaru Loves Pets" Love Promise, but also because we get to cuddle up with the cutest animals for the day. One of our staff members even decided one day of cuddles wasn't enough and took one of the pups home.

A very heartfelt thank you for your generous $1,000 donation to Children’s Village. With your help, we are able to provide a safe and loving home for our children. In March we held our annual Spring Benefit and once again were blown away by the generosity and support of this amazing community. We were blessed to have a past Children's Village resident, who was able to share her story of how Children's Village impacted her future and allowed her to create many positive childhood memories and gain the lifeskills needed during her time with us. There was not a dry eye in the place. This story is a testiment to each one of you that your involvment and support is truly making a difference, bringing healing and providing a brighter future to village children over and over again. The need is real, your support is greatly appreciated and together we are making a difference in the lives of this community's most vulnerable children. Thank you for supporting our mission of loving children and restoring hope. Many thanks, Mark A. Wilson, CEO

On behalf of Panhandle Health District, the Suicide Prevention Action Network of North Idaho (SPAN), the Survivor Support Group and everyone in our community who has been affected by suicide, we want to express our gratitude for Parker Subaru’s generosity. Many in our community have been impacted by suicide and we are thankful that through donations like Subaru’s we are able to support those that have lost someone to suicide through the Survivor Support Group. “When we met with the group they knew that we were feeling, lost, scared, hurt, broken, and not sure how to go on or even if we could go on. Listening to the others that were walking this path and seeing and hearing how they were coping one day, one hour, one minute or one second at a time gave us the courage to put one foot in front of the other. We continue to go because at each meeting we could pour our hearts out and be reassured that we are okay.” – Survivor Support Group member who lost her son to suicide. Not only does SPAN support those who have lost a loved one to suicide, but we are also actively trying to prevent suicides from happening. SPAN had over 800 registrants for the annual Break the Silence walk in 2018, which brings the community together to raise awareness on preventing suicide. SPAN also offers free QPR training to groups. QPR stands for Question, Persuade and Refer. An individual is taken through training to be able to recognize signs when someone may be depressed and contemplating harming themselves. QPR will provide them the tools to feel comfortable to question that individual, persuade them to seek help and then refer them to a professional. In 2018, nearly 900 community members received QPR training.

It is Great to see that the Parker Subaru team has started a Love Promise Food Pantry! We have had our Food Pantry for almost two years. The Brandon Tomes Subaru team members and our community have embraced it and help stock it by donating food on a regular basis. Our nationwide challenge to all Subaru Retailers to start their own Food Pantry has been excepted by Parker Subaru and several other retailers. Congratulations to Parker Subaru for giving back to your community on a daily basis 365 days a year. You are making a difference in peoples lives every day! Supporting the Coeur d Alene community and those in need is an ongoing mission of Jim Parker and the team at Parker Subaru. That is why we are excited to announce our newest community contribution. In search of always looking for new ways to give back to our community this by far could be one of our favorites! On Wednesday, October 24th we unveiled the Parker Subaru Food Pantry. Although we would love to take credit, this was conceived by Brandon Tomes in McKinney, Texas. It was such a huge success, Brandon sent us the plans to make our own pantry. This food pantry's commitment is to show love and respect to all people and make a positive impact. The pantry is unlocked at all times and anyone in need of help is welcome to grab food as they need it. Our commitment is to help individuals and their family by putting food on the table and keeping the food pantry stocked at all times with non-perishable food items. We are so pleased to see our community involvement. Recently we found folded blankets there for anyone to take. We check on the pantry daily and find donations of food someone has dropped off. it truly takes a village!

It's a New Day and we're ready for back to school this afternoon! Thanks to everyone who helped us get this together! Great fun for a fabulous cause! We will provide back-to-school backpacks and supplies to over 850 kids this year. A special thanks to Ryan Wells @ staples for help with the B-t-S supplies and the folks at Parker Subaru for donating all the bags this year! It takes a village to make this kind of difference! We are blessed to have so many hands and hearts working on this effort. What an awesome community we have here in North Idaho! Thank you to all the volunteers and other sponsors that made this happen for our local kids. Angels over Sandpoint

I just want to reach out and say THANK YOU! Parker Subaru stepped up again this year and provided support for the Coeur d'Alene Crossing. Your support does not go unnoticed. From the donated merchandise, the event signage at Parker Subaru, the promotional car and your happy volunteers, we at the Crossing want to say THANK YOU for another successful event. The Coeur d'Alene Crossing is a 2.4 mile open water swim to benefit 3 local non-profits, Union Gospel Mission, North Idaho College Booster Club & the Coeur d'Alene area Swim Team.

Thank you Parker Subaru for your generous donation! Please know that you are making a difference in the lives of local children and families. With your help we raised $75,000. We are tremendously grateful for your company's support in helping us reach our fundraising goal. Year after year, the Sweethearts Ball plays a vital role in providing a week of medically supervised camp for over 100 local children affected by cancer. The proceeds from the year's event will help make that dream a reality. We could not do it without the generosity of donors like you. Once again, The Sweetheart's Ball and Camp Journey at Ross Point thank you for your kindness and for helping us to make a positive impact on the lives of local children and families. Sincerely, Mary, Procurement Chair Sweethearts Ball 2018

Another great turnout for the Parker Subaru Pet Adoption Day. Sunday April 29th was our 7th Annual Pet Adoption Day. Every year we open our Service drive up to area animal shelters to help promote and adopt out some four legged friends in need of a new home. This year we were thrilled to host Kootenai Humane Society, Spokane Humane Society, Double J Dog Ranch and Shoshone Pet Rescue. These local animal shelters provide aid and temporary homes to the many abandoned pets in our area. It is all done with limited budgets and donations from our community members. Unfortunately, these shelters are often over-crowded while the animals are waiting to be adopted. during the event, we pay half of all adoption fees to help boost adoption rates and ease some of that over-crowding. A new addition to this years event was a booth from a local veterinary office. Lakewood Animal Hospital was there handing out goodies and providing excellent general health information for pet owners or future pet owners. The turnout was excellent again with and estimated 200 people coming to the dealership to find a new pet or maybe just to show support and enjoy some delicious BBQ chili dogs courtesy of Parker Subaru. We don't yet have the official count on the number of pets adopted but we know several animals found their forever homes that Sunday. Thank you to everyone who makes this event possible-Stuart Advertising, the wonderful animal shelters mentioned above, Lakewood Animal Hospital, all the Parker Subaru staff who volunteered to help, and most importantly the community members who showed up to support and adopt a new family member. It was an excellent event and we can't wait to it again next year!

Mr. Jim Parker, Parker Subaru staff and the Share the Love Event Team, On behalf of the Board of Trustees, the staff, volunteers and especially the children, we wish to express our heartfelt thanks to you and your team for your incredible generosity and commitment to caring for our community's most vulnerable children. These kiddos have come from tragic places and desperately need a safe haven of love, nurturing and healing.. Your financial support has had more of an impact on the quality of these children's lives than you can ever imagine, not only today but for years to come. With your support, we have been able to increase the quality of care provided, enhance our therapeutic services and provide these kids with the lives they deserve. We see the impact everyday as we watch the healing process unfold, witness transformations and truly know that they are headed for a brighter tomorrow. This community is a better place as a direct result of your caring.

I have lived all my life in Southern California and never knew about how great a Subaru was until I moved to CDA (Coeur d Alene) Idaho 5 months ago. When winter came I couldn't get my car out of the driveway because of the ice and slush so I asked around and everyone recommended I buy a Subaru. They said CDA people love their Subaru's. So being a single woman with a limited budget, I bought a 2015 Legacy from a used car lot in February 2018. It is not only beautiful, classy, and comfortable, but I can go anywhere in the worst of weathers. I absolutely love my Subaru and even the people at Subaru of America. Let me explain; recently I stopped to get gas and the gas cap wouldn't open. The used car lot wouldn't return calls or do anything about it, so I called Subaru of America and talked with Anthony B to see if anything could be done. He was so kind and thoughtful. We talked for sometime but since it wasn't a recall there was nothing that could be done but Anthony said, "I will stay on this and maybe I can at least save you some money." The next day he called to tell me to take the car to Parker Subaru in CDA where he had already talked to them and the cost would be taken care of. The bill was $129.25 and written on it was, "Anthony of SOA is taking care of bill." Wow, Anthony went above and beyond what I could have ever expected. Please take note that you have an amazing man who cares about your customers and gives exceptional service. Please thank him for me. I will tell everyone I know about Subaru. It is a great car and great people to work with.Thank you

As the year comes to a close, we reflect on all we have done to give back to our community...Have we done a lot???? Yes... Could we do more??? Absolutely! We just had our 6th Annual, Christmas Kindness, helping more and more families with Christmas each year, something we are extremely proud of and is one of the most rewarding things we do together as a company. To deliver presents and see the excitement on each child's face is truly priceless. Our employees here at Parker Subaru are like no other! Everyone here was in the holiday spirit with technicians even donating their time to fix a car of one of the families with 5 little girls. Mr. Parker said recently at our Christmas brunch, "we spend more time at work than with our own family and with tears in his eyes, he is truly grateful" well Mr. Parker, we, as your employees, are also truly grateful to work for such an amazing company, who gives 110% back. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! From all the employees at Parker Subaru may 2018 bring you many blessings and happiness.

Hi Josh, Thank you so much for the GREAT service yo have provided during the past few years. After traveling WA, OR and ID and visiting many of the subaru dealerships due to the unusual consumption of oil, I have even a greater appreciation for you and Parker Subaru. Not only do you represent your company with the highest standards of excellence, you are truthful and caring and it is so reasuring to know, if I have questions or problems that I will get an honest answer and you have my best interest at heart. THANKS very much. Cheryl

The Sweethearts' Ball Thank you! Dear Parker Subaru, We would like to thank you for all that you have done to make this year for our kids at Camp Journey a huge success! We are very thankful that you supported our event, The Sweethearts' Ball and it is with great pleasure to announce that with your contribution along with others we were able to donate $60,000 to Camp Journey for 2017! There were over 120 kids who attended Camp Journey this year and they were just as thankful for your contributions as we are! It is because of you that these amazing children have the opportunity to attend camp. It is people like you who keep our dream and vision alive. Again thank you for all that you have done to make Camp Journey and the Sweethearts' Ball possible.

Dear Parker Subaru, Thank you so much for generously hosting the "Needs List Drive" for The Children's Village and providing yummy chili dogs! Events like this are so helpful in stocking up on exactly what we need. We are very lucky and so appreciative of all the love and support you continuously give us. Thank you so much! Congratulations to all our 5th and 6th graders in our area for "perfect attendance" It was a very difficult year with all the sickness and flu bugs going around. Worse year ever! Even though this year not as many bikes were given away, we still had a great day and those children who came and picked up their bikes and helmets enjoyed the BBQ and rode around. We just loved seeing all the smiles and gratitude.

Hello, Thank you so much for taking the time to present this bicycle ride to Mr. Parker. I am overwhelmed at this time at the generoisty of Mr. Parker and this company. We are fast approaching the 1st anniversary of my husband's passing from this dreaded disease. It can be hard for me to grasp that he has been gone for this length of time. I miss him terribly, but would not want him back in this world if he was still stuck in his body that did not work for him and shut down. No cure. No hope. The one thing that keeps me going is knowing he is no longer in pain, no longer shut up in a dying body and that he is at peace with our Lord. One day soon i will rejoin him. In the meantime, i continue to work hard for others who have this diease, and their caretakers, which usually are their spouses. The ALS Evergreen Chapter covers a large area: Washington, Idaho, Montana, Alaska and Oregon, where the need is most, we set up meeting for support to the PALS and CALS; try to keep our loan locker stocked with all the necessities the PALS need wheelchairs, beds, cough assists, hoyer lifts, etc..m, and help out with caregiving assistance and much more. The money raised at this ride and at the walks stay locally. Again, I humbly thank you for your support and welcome you to being a part of this great ride! Another successful pet adoption day under our belt. On Sunday April 30th Parker Subaru held our 6th annual Pet Adoption Day. Each year it just keeps getting bigger and better than the last. A huge thank you to the Humane Society, Double J dog Ranch, Shoshone Pet Rescue, Washington Bassett Rescue and Power of the Paw for bringing such a great selection of fur babies. With the exception of 2 sweet bassett hounds, every animal brought to Parker Subaru for Pet Adoption Day was adopted, including 2 guinnea pigs. Parker Subaru would also like to thank our community for coming in record numbers to our annual event. A free BBQ was offered to all and Parker Subaru paid 1/2 of all adoption fees. "The value of life is not based on how long we live, but how much we contribute to others in our society."

Dealing with childhood cancer can sometimes make "just being a kid" seem out of reach and out of scope for the whole family. At Camp Journey, their goal is to change that perception and that reality. At their nurturing, medically supervised home-away-from-home, young cancer survivors can leave their worries behind for one magical week and immerse themselves in a fun-filled outdoor camp experience tailored especially to their needs. In the meantime, their families and caregivers can rest easy, knowing that trained pediatric oncology staff are on site 24/7. What started in 2013 as a project to give back to the community has now grown into the leading fundraiser for Camp Journey. The founding vision was to bring together the community to raise awareness and funding for the local children's oncology camp in a compassionate, real way. Parker Subaru feels truly blessed to have sponsored and being a part of this wonderful event for the 2nd year in a row. This year, the Sweetheart's Ball raised $60k and will be able to send more children to camp.

The SweetHearts' Ball March 5 at 9:00am · Thank you Parker Subaru for being our Diamond Sponsors for the 2nd year in a row. It means so much to have this amazing family and organization on our side. If you don't know much about the Parker Family they do nothing but give back to our community in so many ways, they truly set the bar for community involvement and philanthropy. If you haven't had the chance to stop by their facility and meet their amazing staff of had workers we really recommend it. Thank you again for helping to make this event happen and making a difference in the lives of children who need it the most. Thank you Jim Parker, Diane Bowman Parker, Chris Leonard, Kathleen Hine.

A huge shout out to the Parker Auto Family for your support of the Excel Foundation and for being our first ever Diamond sponsor. Thank you!! The EXCEL Foundation funds grants to teachers for innovative classroom projects in Coeur d'Alene School District 271. These projects would not be funded with ongoing school maintenance dollars. Funding is meant to improve the learning experience of students and encourage teachers with creative approaches to education. Grants are not awarded based on particular area of emphasis or rigid criteria. Instead, the EXCEL Board seeks unique and inventive ideas which will increase a students motivation to learn while developing higher level thinking skills and depth of knowledge.

It just keeps getting bigger and bigger. This year Parker Subaru helped 7 families that otherwise would not have had a Christmas. Our employees love this time of year and it wasn't long before teams were formed, families picked and the shopping and wrapping began. Even our DPSM Phil Saraceno got in on the action with a donation to help. Thank you Phil.

The Parkers have made a $1 million donation to the Building the Future Campaign, which will help to ensure the Career and Technical Education Facility has the necessary equipment and scholarship support for students who enroll in one of nine career and technical programs offered at the facility. The NIC (North Idaho College) facility will be named the Parker Career and Technical Education Facility in honor of their vision and generous investment that benefits the entire region. Jim pointed to the high job placement rate and good wages available for students pursuing careers in the skilled trades. He emphasized this facility will not only benefit his company's needs for qualified employees, it will enhance the overall economic stability and prosperity for the region now and for future generations. "We're proud to support this project and the future generations that deserve opportunities this facility will provide," Jim said. We sincerely thank the Parker family for their commitment, said NIC President Rick MacLennan. We invite the community to come tour this incredible facility and learn about the programs and careers our graduates will qualify for as they enter the regional workforce.

Congratulations to Rick and Denise they each won a new 2016 Subaru Crosstrek. Every year Parker Subaru gives back to the community by donating a new vehicle to the Post Falls High school. Students sell tickets to win a new car. 100% of the proceeds go back to the school. Well this year Parker Subaru decided to include Sandpoint High school and donated another 2016 Subaru Crosstrek. This is the 1st year of selling tickets for Sandpoint but they raised an incredible $51,000. But lets not forget Post Falls they sold $68,000. In our eyes this is a win-win situation. We are all winners.

Dear Jim, Thank you for your support of the Long Bridge Swim in 2016! Your sponsorship will contribute greatly toward our efforts to provide swim lessons for young people and adults who would otherwise not be able to afford them. We especially appreciate you being a lead sponsor two years in a row! Since 2011, the Long Bridge Swim has funded swim lessons and water safety classes for over 3600 children, working with teachers in the Lake Pend Oreille School District and instructors at Sandpoint West Athletic Club. Thanks again for your support of the Long Bridge Swim and our swim lessons initiatives! Best regards, Jim Zuberbuhler

As an employee of Parker Subaru (sponsors of the Sweetheart's Ball) I had the honor of attending visitor's day at Camp Journey. It was such an amazing and humbling experience to see children from just being diagnosed with cancer to terminally ill. I didn't know what to expect and I certainly didn't think it would impact me as it did. The Sweetheart's Ball raised 50k for Camp Journey and Parker Subaru is so blessed to have been a part of that. It's about helping but you also have to care and believe. I can honestly say the Parker Family makes you want to be a better person and serve your community. It's not just about selling cars to them, It's about giving back. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of this extraordinary team.

Dear Parker Subaru, We cannot thank you enough for being a sponsor at the Sweethearts' Ball and for all of your support of our pediatric oncology camp, Camp Journey. With your unprecedented support for community auction donations, and your cash contributions, you have helped make it possible to send 120 children who have or have had cancer, along with 75 volunteers from across the Pacific Northwest to attend Camp Journey free of charge. Your community support and outreach is unparalleled and you truly set the standards for community involvement. Thank you again for the support and we look forward to working with you in the future. Sincerely, Sweethearts Ball & Camp Journey

When the Children's Village is in need, Parker Subaru is there. Feeding 22 kids is a huge task and having to rely on the community for donations is a feat in itself. So any way we can help, that's just what we do. With a loaded truck full of groceries and 2 new bikes with helmets, we were off to deliver much needed supplies.

Double J Dog Ranch had a great day, thank you for having us at the event. We adopted two dogs Skip, a blind Toy Aussie and Vern a deaf Pit/Aussie. Vern's story: Vern was picked up working the Vegas strip. He went to the slammer and no one came to get him out. After his time was up and no hope for an adopter, the shelter contacted us and we brought him to Idaho and he joined our program for special needs dogs. Vern's luck changed the day he came to our ranch and it got even better at the Parker Subaru Pet Adoption Event where he finally met his new family.

Giving back spreads from one end of our dealership to the other here at Parker Subaru. On Nov 21st 2015 Brent Petley, service advisor, donated one full days pay to his church, Lake City Community Church here in Coeur d'Alene Idaho. Brent says he does this every year and is always looking for ways to pay it forward. He says this money is used to help people less fortunate in the hope that it will change someones life. In the "My One Day Pay" all the members of Brent's church raised $112k. Wow, now that really is something! You make us proud Brent.

For 4 years and counting Parker Subaru has had the greatest joy of giving back at Christmas time. Names of families are given to us through school counselors through out Kootenai County. The employees at Parker Subaru are truly amazing and have done everything from paying a family's rent for the month, buying tires for their vehicle to just making sure they have plenty of presents under the tree for their children. Here is just one "thank you" card we received...To all that have helped bless us, and so many this Christmas! Thank you all so much for your time, consideration and care this holiday. I cant express my gratitude enough, your kindness and generosity has truly blessed us this Christmas, it takes a very kind heart to do what you guys do and you all are truly appreciated. I hope you have a well deserved, very Merry Christmas. I look forward to the day when I can pay it forward and help people in need someday. I plan to do good in this life and bless as many people as I can, similar to how you have helped so many people yourselves.Your good deeds and blessings wont go unrecognized, Thank you so much for being so kind! Merry Christmas, from Sherri

I would like to start off with this quote by John Wooden."Great people aren't great because of their talent; they are great because of their passion". Parker Subaru donated for the 4th year in a row a brand new Subaru, to help raise money for the Lakeland, Timberlake and Post Falls High Schools. Tickets are sold throughout the year and 100% of the ticket sales goes right back to the schools. The Subaru Crosstrek was also loaned out for various fundraising events. During the halftime of Post Falls High vs Lakeland High the winning ticket was drawn and announced.Ticket sales this year came to a whopping $84,750.00. Parker Subaru has always had a passion for giving back and will continue to do so. We can't wait for 2016!

All you have to do is ask and employees at Parker Subaru will step up to the plate and help. At the 5th Annual "Open your purse drive" Parker Subaru employees gathered and donated over 70 purses, wallets and handbags to the Event, held every November. 100% of all money from the sale of the purses go to the Childrens Village.

Can I share an experience that was so far beyond normal that I still talk about it, months later. Last summer I was on a road trip with my brand new non Subaru car. As it happened I needed to stop by Parker Subaru. As I drove into the customer parking area a few of the sales guys were outside. Before I could even get out, on of them, Steve Novak immediately came over to me and asked what happened to my car? I had no idea what he was talking about. "The paint", he said. Sure enough I had crossed over fresh yellow paint and it had covered the inside of my wheel wells and splattered the side of my new car with yellow paint. Steve noticed that it was still fairly fresh and immediately asked if he could take it to his detail bay. 20 min later, after 3 guys jumped all over the car with pressure washers, cleansers, brushes, scrubbers and a ton of effort they put my car back in the customer slot i had parked in completely clean. It was a stellar example of the value of servanthood. I was not a customer. Was not driving a Subaru. Do not even live in the area. But for 30 minutes I felt like the most important person at their dealership. Thank you Parker Subaru. Thank you Steve Novak. Martin Barrett

Thank you Parker Subaru for becoming a key sponsor for the Long Bridge Swim 2015! The Parker Subaru sponsorship will contribute greatly toward our efforts to provide swim lessons for young people and adults who would otherwise not be able to afford them. This year's swim is the 21st year for the event and we had over 700 swimmers. Working closely with the Lake Pend Oreille School District, Sandpoint West Athletic Club and city Parks and Rec Dept. our goals are to help non-swimmers learn to swim, teach water safety, eliminate needless drowning's and promote swimming as a life sport. We have also provided financial aid for students on local swim teams and assisted students with the Red Cross lifesaving course. Thanks again for your support. Best regards, Jim Zuberbuhler, Race Director

I cannot thank you enough for your generous donation to our fun tournament. We had 116 ladies play in the tournament and after all payouts, expenses and misc. we were able to make a very generous donation to Hospice. You and the Parker Subaru family were directly responsible for this. The picture of the ladies were taken during our lunch on the final day. Thank you again, Gayle

On July 14th 2015 we had the amazing opportunity of pairing up with BikeCDA, to donate the leftover bicycles and helmets back to our wonderful community. What a great cause & thanks for letting us be apart of something so special. BikeCDA provides a central hub to unify the many diverse groups, team and organizations that are involved in our cycling community. BikeCDA is a collective voice promoting and fostering a safe and active cycling culture.

Your donation is appreciated! This will help us put supplies in our closet for needy students this year. Our Cougar Closet has clothes, coats, shoes and supplies. We would like to make sure that all of our students are taken care of. All a student or parent has to do is contact a staff member. The staff member takes them to the closet so that they can pick out what they need. We have been able to help many families in the past. Now we can put more supplies in the closet. Thank you so much! Sincerely, Fonda Stewart, John Brown Elementary School.

Autism typically appears during the first three years of life and affects a person's ability to communicate and interact with others. Autism currently impacts 1 in 88 children, and studies show that autism is four to five times more common in boys than girls. By way of comparison, more children are diagnosed with autism each year than with juvenile diabetes, AIDS or cancer combined. This is why Parker Subaru chose to be a Gold Sponsor in the Chafe150 GranFondo. Bike enthusiasts come from all over to participate in this bike ride. Chafe 150 is contributing the proceeds of the ride to the Lake Pend Oreille School district. This will help staff better meet the needs of students with Autism. Giving back....isn't that what its about? Parker Subaru hopes with this love promise letter, more people will join the cause and be more aware of the Autism Spectrum.

Here's to another successful year of the P.A.S.S. Program (Perfect Attendance Spells Success). This is Parker Subaru's 4th year of giving away a bicycle and helmet to each 5th & 6th grader with perfect attendance. Each year it just amazes us how truly devoted these young people are. The excitement on their faces when they come to our dealership to pick up their bikes is awesome. Most of the students bring along their siblings and to hear the younger brothers and sisters say, "I am going to go to school everyday so I can get one to" is heartwarming. It reminds each and every one of us at Parker Subaru that giving is the reward! These 5th and 6th graders don't realize it yet, but attending school everyday is helping them learn more, along with teaching them to strive for something and reap the rewards. "WHATEVER YOUR MIND CAN CONCEIVE AND BELIEVE, YOU CAN ACHIEVE"

Parker Subaru was the main sponsor for "SOBER GRAD NIGHT" In Sandpoint, Idaho June 5th, 2015. You are the future and we couldn't be more proud of each and everyone of you. Many of you will go on to college, some will go straight to work, but always remember where you came from. Be humble and kind to others, serve your community and most of all be happy. We wish you the best of luck 2015 Graduates! Sincerely, Your friends at Parker Subaru

Fun was had by all who attended Parker Subaru's 4th Annual Pet Adoption. Everyone loved the free BBQ and our very own Eric Sherman (BDC Dept) and his family adopted a furry friend. Thank you to Kootenai Humane Society, Scraps, Spokane Humane Society, Shoshone Humane Society, R4A Rescue and Double J Dog Ranch for coming. As always Parker Subaru paid 1/2 of all adoption fees and we look forward to an even bigger event next year.
MAKE-A-WISH I.
To our friends at Parker Subaru, We wanted to take this opportunity to send our sincerest thanks to everyone at Parker Subaru for supporting the 2014 "Share the Love" event. As you know, Make-A-Wish was one of the four national charities that benefitted from "Share the Love", but what you might not realize is that Make-A-Wish Idaho, that is right here in your neighborhood, received the funds raised locally. These funds are used to help grant wishes for kids like Bryce, age 14, who wished to have an Action Track Wheelchair. Every 37 minutes a wish is granted somewhere in the U.S. Each wish serves as a new beginning for the wish child and family, to reclaim and resume life on their own terms. Life gets better for everyone involved when a wish comes true. Thanks to the support from Subaru of America and Subaru dealerships across the country just like yours, more than 860 wishes have been granted in the past four years. Thank you for all that you do to help makes wishes come true. Sincerely, Brenda, Megan, Nikki, Savannah, Rever

Dear Mr. Parker, The purpose of this letter is to let you know about the exceptional care and service we got recently from the Parker Subaru team in Coeur D'Alene. This is the 2nd Subaru I have purchased and I feel extremely safe driving my grandchildren and mother around. My son Paul was graciously directed to Chris Leonard and Chris went above and beyond the call of duty to put us into the perfect vehicle. He spoke to my brother over the phone to discuss the deal, and one day listened to me become quite emotional on the phone about my brother's attitude of how car sales are done in Texas. Salesman Brady has a wonderful warm, caring personality and right away put me at ease while we drove different models. Jared, in charge of used cars also made the vehicle exchange go smoothly. He was professional, compassionate and was happy to help me shuffle and empty cars. These 3 gentlemen were exceptional in every aspect of making this deal happen and then some. They were respectful, compassionate, extremely well versed on any issues we had questions about, and made us feel like "family" you are probably already aware of the outstanding caliber of people who work for you, but I wanted to praise them for being"real people" who care and want to make the customer extremely satisfied. We love our new Forester and couldn't be happier! Thank You Sincerely, Carol Landon

We would like to thank our customers and employees for their participation in the "SUBARU LOVES THE EARTH" event. We collected numerous items and knowing they wont go into a landfill does our hearts good. Parker Subaru believes in recycling and we do it all year long. Again, Thank you everyone! Sincerely, Parker Subaru
DEAN O.
My name is Dean Opsal, I just bought my 4th Subaru Outback a 2015. I am sending you this letter because of the Subaru sales rep at Parker Subaru, Mr. Jeff Yates. When I told him what I did for work he recommended the Subaru crash avoidance system he was very concerned about all the miles I drive, over 35000 a year on bad Idaho roads. Now the strange part is, I had less than 500 miles on my new car driving down US95 listing to Joel Olsten on XM radio doing 43mph with the system on and "BAM" just like that without warning a large black GMC envoy cut right in front of me and slammed on its breaks. I had no time to react, and before I could hit the break with my foot the car safety system did it for me saving me a horrible rear-end crash. I was so stunned it took my breath away. Jeff saved me from a huge crash buy recommending the safety system. I am forever grateful. With Love & Respect, Dean Opsal

Dear Chris and Subaru Staff, On behalf of Community Action Partnership Food Bank, I would like to thank you for your cash donation from the proceeds of the Subaru Share the love event. Your labor of love is amazing. I am continually in awe of our community and how creative people are in support of our friends and neighbors who have fallen on less than favorable times. Please thank each sales associate for their time and support of our food bank. I am excited to share that we should have enough cash donations to purchase a refrigerated van which will retrieve an average of 80-100 thousand pounds of donated food per year for several years in the future. You can only imagine the accumulative value of this wonderful gift to our community members who utilize our food bank. I consider it an honor and great responsibility to be sure that every dollar donated is used to its highest potential.Thank you for encouraging us in our work. We would not be able to serve without our community support. Your wonderful gift is greatly appreciated. Sincerely, Carolyn Shewfelt Community Action Partnership Food Bank Manager

Long before there was a "Love Promise", Parker Subaru and their employees have been giving back to the community. To work at Parker Subaru our employees must be very compassionate, giving and love what they do. We would like to share just one of many examples: Sales associate Jason White gets a call from his customer Ann, she says she needs to have her snow tires taken off and her spring tires put on, but she has no way of getting them here, they are too big with the rims. "NO PROBLEM" says Jason, I will come pick them up for you. After several missed appts due to Ann being very ill, Jason calls Ann and says, how about I just come and get your vehicle, have the swap done then return your vehicle to you, needless to say Ann was very happy, but that's not the end of the story, Jason took it one step farther and also paid for the service himself. Thank you Jason for being part of the Parker Subaru team. We are so proud of you.

Incredible customer service through the life of the vehicle. From purchase date to sale date all the services in between. So good that I went back to buy my first Brand new car from Parker Subaru. I got great value for my trade in, a fair price for the car and a hassle free loan experience. My sales rep, Dan Morin also went way above my expectations by sending me pictures of my car though the upgrade phase where I added an STI exhaust, front bumper lip and some protectant panel covers as well as tint. I could not wait to drive it when I got home from work and when I drove my 2015 WRX off the lot with 7 miles on it I was absolutely stoked! I couldn't recommend a better dealership than Parker Subaru to anyone in the Coeur D Alene area. They are Bad A**!

In support of Coeur D Alene High school, Parker Subaru is currently sponsoring the "X the Text" initiative. The program ask the students to pledge with a thumbprint they will not text and drive. Announcements were made during a recent High School basketball game halftime, student assembly, and during morning announcements during the month of February about the program. Coeur D Alene High students placed their thumb print on the "X the Text" banners placed throughout the school.Parker Subaru is very proud of our High School Students!

On November 20th, Parker Subaru chose Community Action Partnership (Coeur D'Alene Food Bank) as the hometown charity for the "Share The Love" Program. Not only did we offer $5.00 - $10.00 off oil changes for bringing in donations/non-perishables, but we successfully collected 556.6 lbs of food. We feel fortunate to live in a community that is willing to help and embrace our hometown charity. We are humbled by all that donated, including our own employees. As our mission statement states: Parker Subaru is a Company committed to continuously improving its service to our customers, our employees and our community. OUR GRATITUDE SETS US APART. Thank you, Parker Subaru

My daughter is the Registrar at the Musical Instrument Museum in Arizona. Last June she was married in a ceremony here in No.Idaho. Two nights before the wedding we were driving my 2010 Forester when all kinds of lights came on. Being the mother of the bride, I fell into the depths of panic. The bride & groom were using my Forester while they were in town, and they expected to drive off in it after the wedding. A day before the wedding we called your service dept. and explained the situation. She was told to bring the car right down and promised her a loaner so she would have post-wedding transportation. She and her fiance drove right down to Parker Subaru. The wedding went off without a hitch and the bride & groom drove off in your loaner. We sincerely appreciate your outstanding service! CONGRATULATIONS to Tricia Dean of Post Falls she won a brand new Subaru Crosstrek from Parker Subaru at the raffle drawing during a recent basketball game at Post Falls High. The raffle raised just over $92,000 to help support clubs and projects at Timberlake, Post Falls and Lakeland High Schools. For the past 4 years Parker Subaru has donated a new Subaru to be raffled.

Dear Mr.Parker, On Sat. night I was a guest at the banquet of the "Casting for Recovery group through N.Idaho & E.Washington fly Fishing Assoc. We had a chance to see many wonderful items that your company donated to the silent, live and bucket auctions. As a graduate of the June Casting for Recovery program on the North Fork of CDA River, I want to thank you for your generous donations to this program. I am a survivor of Stage IV Breast Cancer. This outing was one of the most rewarding support programs I have encountered. This is my first year of recovery and to be able to have a weekend of pampering by this fine group was overwhelming for me and the other 13 women survivors. Thank you again for supporting this great organization. I know you must have many requests for donations but we survivors are grateful that you have given us your support. Sincerely, Sandy Eberle

Thank you Parker Subaru for being the Titled sponsor for "Canines vs Cancer". Your support for our community is absolutely amazing. We reached our goal of raising $10k after expenses. Thanks for helping us help kids fighting cancer. 50% of the proceeds from "Canines vs Cancer" will go to the American Childhood Cancer Organization Inland Northwest and the other half of the proceeds will be divided among animal shelters and WSU Veterinary Clinic. THANK YOU PARKER SUBARU!!!!!!

Dear Jim Parker, On behalf of the Casting for Recovery Committee we would like to thank you for your generous support of the fund raising event held in Post Falls on April 27th. From the auction items and ticket sales and other donations we generated a net income of excess of $12k. It is indeed gratifying to see so many people like you helping to make this program viable.Next June, 14 women from No Idaho who are living with the effects of breat cancer will travel to CDA River for 2 1/2 days of fly fishing and counseling retreat. We hope you will feel the gratitude of these women as they take another step closer to recovery made possible by you and so many others. Thank you. Sincerely, Dave Londeree President, No Idaho Fly Casters

In Jan of 2012 an idea was born in Coeur d Alene Idaho. With the rise in popularity of the bicycle riding event called"Grand Fondo".As we realized this was really going to happen we also knew that we had an opportunity to identify a local beneficiary-The No Idaho Centennial Trail Foundation. I can honestly say, without a doubt, that if it werent for Jim Parker and his wonderful team he has assembled there, our event would have struggled to make a difference in our town. The fact that funds were granted and unrestricted use of a brand-new Outback to help us create awareness wherever we went helped us realize a net outcome of over $35k the very first year. On behalf of all of us that have seen our dream come true, please know we truly appreciate the continued support and dedication to our community that Jim Parker provides. Thank you for your consideration for this Love Promise rockstar! Sincerely, Micahel Ward.

If I had to describe Jim Parker from Parker Subaru in one word, it would be "giver." While Jim may be a local business owner, he is a giver first, giving back to the community. I've worked with Jim on the "Learning with Lucky" reading program since 2007. Together, we've supplied well over 10,000 first graders with a "reading buddy" as part of the Learning with Lucky program. This reading program is designed to encourage reading achievement with first graders. The program allows teachers to motivate students through the difficult process of learning to read. The possibilities are endless when you have people like Jim Parker in your community. Sincerely, Camy Popiel
Did Parker Subaru go above and beyond, provide exceptional service, or support causes that are important to you? We'd love to hear about it.
