Assistant Service Manager

The ASM is the dealerships first-line customer-relations and service sale representative. The job encompasses the proper satisfaction of customer and vehicle related problems, meeting pre-determined service sales objectives and the thorough and accurate performance of designated administrative activities.

Job Description & Requirements:
  • Maintain a high level of cleanliness, grooming and uniform appearance.
  • Conduct all business with sincerity, honesty and genuine concern for the customers.
  • Promptly meet and greet service customers in a friendly and courteous manner.
  • Listen to customer's reason(s) for bringing their vehicle to the service department.
  • Offer a logical diagnostic service(s) or repair(s) to satisfy customer's problem(s).
  • Provide accurate estimates for all services or repairs sold.
  • Handle minor customer complaints and/or misunderstandings with courtesy and tact.
  • Make policy adjustments within the guidelines and budgets determined by management.
  • Sell the proper repairs and/or series responsive to customer's perceived needs.

  • Obtain accurate parts and labor prices for all customer pay and internal operations using the appropriate price source and labor pricing guides.
  • Meet or exceed sales objectives set by management.
  • Answer incoming telephone calls promptly, courteously, and make every effort to satisfy the caller's inquiry.
  • Maintain communication with the technical staff regarding job status changes.
  • Remain continuously posted on the shop's work load to determine what kind of work the shop can quickly accommodate.
  • Confirm service appointments by telephone the day before the customer's scheduled arrival.
  • Contact service customers when their vehicle's work is finished.
  • Properly, thoroughly, and legibly write repaid orders for the categories of work designated by management.
  • Maintain a production scheduling form (route sheet) on an accurate and continuous basis.
  • Properly document repair order changed.
  • Carefully inspect every finished repair order for proper completion, pricing accuracy, and legibility.
  • Document flat rate time or the required time-keeping according to the service department and/or warranty procedures.
  • Maintain a record of carryover vehicles.
  • Maintain a record of special order parts status.
  • Perform other specific administration functions as directed by service management.
Social Media Internship - Hiring Now

The Social Media Specialist will work directly with our Internet Marketing Director to create and maintain a strong online presence for the Parker Auto Group in Coeur d'Alene, ID (Parker Toyota, Subaru & Auto Credit). The role of the Social Media Specialist is to be a digital brand ambassador by leveraging the Company's websites and social media channels. The daily activities will include, but not be limited to: creating engaging content through social media platforms, managing our online reputation and completing various weekly projects. 

  • Create, edit and publish engaging content through major social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, etc.).
  • Monitor all social media channels daily and engage with any active followers.
  • Analyze competitor's social channels to find what's working and what's not.
  • Assist and train co-workers to use their own social media platforms to ensure they are positively promoting the Parker Brand.
  • Capturing and publishing all Parker Auto Group's community outreach events (Bike Giveaway, car raffle, pet adoption day, etc.).
  • Monitor all review sites and responding to both positive and negative reviews.
  • Research and write content on automotive and industry news

Community Outreach

Parker Subaru is actively looking for Service Technicians/Mechanic to add to our rapidly growing dealership in Coeur d'Alene, ID. The right individual must be self-driven, hardworking and work well with our team. The ideal candidate will be proficient, and have the ability to work efficiently and effectively on many different makes and models.

Job Description:
Our Technicians perform work specified on maintenance and repair orders with efficiency and in accordance with Dealership and Manufacturers 

Our Technicians diagnose and repair vehicle automotive systems
Our Technicians provide labor and time estimates for additional automotive repairs possibly needed
Our Technicians explain their mechanical diagnoses' and required repairs in a non-technical manner to service advisers and customers
Inspect and test new/used vehicles and record their findings so that necessary repairs can be made

Job Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years of experience as an automotive technician
Dealership experience is a huge plus
Domestic and Import Experience Preferred
A.S.E. Certification is preferred
Team oriented, flexible and focused on maintaining a high level of Client Support

The ideal candidate will have proficiency in the ability to work efficiently and effectively, to ensure that excellent customer service is given to our customers. The individual will report directly to the Parts Manager in the department.
